Hi! I'm Carrie Jordan ♥

I'm married to the loml and mother to five. I also help keep two dogs, a dozen plants, and a sourdough starter named Betty alive.

​

By day, I work for Microsoft and by the wee hours of the morning, I write. Since 2010, I've written on-and-off as a hobby whenever inspired. But in 2023, a novel idea struck me like lightning, and I penned my first full novel in six weeks. 

​

And then I realized I needed to learn how to write. Damn details.

​

Eleven months of revisions 100 craft books, podcasts, and YouTube videos later, that book is currently in the query trenches, with several full manuscript requests under consideration (woop)!

They say lightning never strikes twice, but thankfully re: inspiration that's not true. It happened again in 2024, and I've just finished the first draft of my second novel. I'm here for the long-haul and writing at 4:30 am is my favorite part of the day (ok, hugging my kids, and THEN writing are my faves).

​

I'm also relatively obsessed with the enneagram (3 here ϟ), baking, gardening, reading, interior design, ballet, and coffee. Lots of coffee.
